
Catharina-Amalia
Catharina-Amalia (known as Amalia) was born in 2003, the first child of Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima. When her father became king in 2013 Amalia became crown princess and assumed the title of ‘Princess of Orange’.
Amalia has two younger sisters, Alexia and Ariane. After graduating from high school, Amalia took a gap year. She is now studying Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
Since turning eighteen, the Princess of Orange has been a member of the Council of State of the Netherlands, alongside her parents.
