This privacy statement is by Paleis Het Loo, registered in the trade register of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 41041897.
This statement relates to all online and offline datasets of all types of personal data. The data provided by you shall be treated with all care and confidentiality. Paleis Het Loo hereby complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which entered into operation on 25 May.

GDPR
Paleis Het Loo can be deemed the party responsible for the processing of your personal details in the sense of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  The processing of your personal details has been reported to the responsible authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA).

Type of processing:
Paleis Het Loo can use your personal details for the following purposes:

  • to provide further information about such things as current developments, exhibitions, meetings, products and services.

  • performance of our service provision, improvement of our services and products, compiling visitor and user statistics, dealing with requested information and security and improvement of the website.

Type of personal details
The personal details which may be processed by Paleis Het Loo are first name, last name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, CV and motivation letter. Depending on the preferences set in the various social media accounts, certain personal information can be shared with Paleis Het Loo about your online activities and social media profiles. Data relating to your visiting behaviour will be used for study into possibilities for a further optimisation of and communications about our exhibitions and services.

Cookies
The website of Paleis Het Loo makes use of cookie technology within the stipulated frameworks of the AVG.

Google Analytics
Paleis Het Loo has concluded a processing agreement with Google. The data collected in Google Analytics are in an anonymous form and encrypted. The so-called ‘sharing of data’ with Google is off. Finally, Paleis Het Loo does not use the Analytics cookies in combination with other services of Google.

Objective
These data are stored in the customer system of Paleis Het Loo and are used to enable us to deliver our services to you. Your personal details can also be used by Paleis Het Loo to inform you about our products and services. Your e-mail address shall only be used for this purpose if you give us permission for this in advance. You can stop the reception of mailings at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail.

Appropriate security
Paleis Het Loo has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protected your personal details against loss or improper processing.

Sub-processors and sharing of data
Paleis Het Loo can, when processing your personal details, make use of service providers which will act as processor and with which Paleis Het Loo has concluded an agreement. Except for this, Paleis Het Loo does not pass on the personal details you provide to other parties, unless you have given emphatic permission for this or if Paleis Het Loo is bound to do so by law.

Right to perusal
You are entitled to peruse, improve, supplement, remove and protect your personal details in compliance with that stated in the GDPR.

Paleis Het Loo reserves the right to amend this privacy statement. Each amendment shall be reported on this page. The current statement comes into operation on 25 May 2018.
