Yes, you can. We recommend that you buy tickets online in advance, to be certain of being able to visit the palace.

There is no separate garden ticket. With your ticket to Paleis Het Loo, you can visit the stables, gardens, exhibitions and, of course, the palace.

• From the entry building you can walk to the stables square with the prins Hendrik garage to the right and the stables and coach houses to the left. From there it's a 10 minute walk to the palace.

• Then you arrive at the bassecour, the forecourt of the palace. You can find the entrance in the left or right corner pavilion.

• You can take either the stairs or the lift to the entrance area. Here you can find the helpdesk, the toilets, the shop and the free cloakroom, where our colleagues will take your jacket. You can also leave your bag and jacket in our lockers. They can be opened with the QR-code of your entry ticket.

• From the entry balcony you can continue your way to the grand foyer with the permanent exhibition 'De Oranjes' to the right.

• If you walk straight, you will arrive at the palace.

• In the palace you can take the east or west route with an audio tour.

• You can visit the palace roof by taking the stairs or the lift.

• From the palace you can stroll through the palace gardens.

• At the end of the tunnel, behind the colonnades, you can start the Orange Trail.

Tips:

• You can get an informational brochure about Paleis Het Loo at the helpdesk.

• You can use the shuttlebus to close the distance between the entry building and the palace. €1,- for a day ticket.

• When you leave your jacket and bag in the cloakroom, don't forget to take your debit card. You can rent an audio device in the palace or buy something in the shop.

• Book a high tea in the ballroom of Paleis Het Loo.

A visit to Paleis Het Loo takes about four hours.

Some can enjoy yourself for a full day with a lunch, high tea or the Orange trail in the palace park. A day won't be enough if you also want to see all the exhibitions and the palace from beginning to end.

Others will take one palace route, a visit to the palace roof and is satisfied after three hours. All tastes are catered for!

You can download the app from the app store (Android and iPhone). The app includes the audio guide which you can listen to as you follow one of our visitor routes.

Service dogs are welcome at Paleis Het Loo. Pets are not admitted.

Yes, there are a cloakroom and lockers are in the palace.

Yes, you may take photos and videos inside the palace for personal use. Taking photos for commercial purposes is not allowed. It is not permitted to capture visitors or staff in a recognizable way without their explicit permission. The following conditions apply:

• no use of (additional) lighting, tripods, or props

• equipment must be hand-held in size

• other visitors must not be disturbed

• drone recordings are not permitted

• Taking wedding photos for personal use is only allowed in the gardens and on the stables square. It is not permitted inside.

Would you like to take photo or video professionally? Please see the guidelines for filming and photography.

Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks to Paleis Het Loo. In the gardens and around the stables square are nice places to have lunch or snack. Food and drinks are not allowed in the palace due to the museum collection.

Reservations for a coffee or lunch are not required. For groups of 15 people or more, book online.

Yes, free wifi is available in the stables square and the palace.

Yes. You can reserve a ticket for the Junior Palace when you purchase your entrance tickets for Paleis Het Loo online. This guarantees you a spot on the day of your visit. On the day of your visit, you can choose your start time at the entrance desk in the palace (opposite the cloakroom).

On average, a visit to the Junior Palace lasts 60-75 minutes.

The Junior Palace is designed for children aged 3–12. Many games are played together. A parent or guardian can assist with the more challenging ones.

For preschoolers, the Bureau of Mini Affairs area is set up. There are also puzzles to solve, and dancing or dressing up is fun for all ages!

The Kingsta is a device that groups receive to play the digital games. You do not need your own phone for the Junior Palace. A Kingsta is used by two to three people.

No, the Junior Palace is included in the entrance fee for Paleis Het Loo.

No, the Junior Palace is not available as a separate ticket.
