The palace as an organization
Paleis Het Loo is the largest authentic 17th-century palace of the House of Orange-Nassau. Since 1984, our visitors have been able to gain a sense of how the Dutch royal family lived and worked here, enjoying the gardens, the palace and the natural surroundings. This is a place with a very special history.
Who we are
More than 300 people with different backgrounds and jobs work at Paleis Het Loo, from gardeners, security officers and marketing specialists, to the staff of our restaurants. We also have 150 volunteers who work here on a daily basis.
