Drinking fountains

Please visit the drinking water points scattered around the site, where you can top up your water bottle. Make sure you stay well-hydrated during your visit.

Tip: bring a refillable water bottle with you

Make sure you apply plenty of sun cream

The grounds of Paleis Het Loo consist largely of open gardens and squares. So don’t forget to protect yourself properly from the sun and bring a cap with you. There are several sun cream stations on the grounds.

Refreshing sprinklers

From 6 July to 20 August, sprinklers will provide extra cooling during the Summer Palace. A lovely break during a warm stroll through the gardens.

Note: wet clothing is not allowed inside the palace.

Admire the fountains

The fountains are one of the highlights of the palace gardens and offer a magnificent view.

Please note: the fountains are fragile and are not suitable for a refreshing dip or for paddling.
