The Summer Palace is set for another summer packed with activities and events this year!
Paleis Het Loo is a true summer palace. From 6 July to 30 August, the palace gardens become one big playground and there are plenty of extra activities on offer. There are also Summer Concerts, and you can visit the exhibitions ‘The Grand Staircase’ and ‘State of Wander’.
And that’s in addition to what’s on offer every day. From audio tours in the palace and a view from the palace roof, to the exhibitions in the museum. You can see ‘The House of Orange’, covering the history from William of Orange to Willem-Alexander, and a temporary, changing exhibition. The Junior Palace is of course open too!
Will you play too?
It all starts on the stables square with a real car race. You then head towards the palace and the gardens via the horse-riding course. Here you’ll find all sorts of outdoor games. From archery to a well-stocked games stall with Jenga or Mikado.
