From Saturday, July 6 to Sunday, September 1, Paleis Het Loo turns into a real summer palace. In the summer the gardens are a large playground and there are many extra activities. It all starts at the stables square where you can race with hobbyhorses and cars. Via the XL hopscotch path you can then proceed towards the palace and gardens. Here you will find all kinds of outdoor games. From archery and ring throwing to a well-stocked games stall with Jenga or Mikado. Do you see the balance flower? Who can keep balancing the longest? Or participate in a seed bomb making workshop during the weekends.
And don't miss the Princes and Princesses Days and the Summer Concerts!
And that in addition to all the palace has on offer daily. From audio routes in the palace and a view from the palace roof, to the exhibitions in the museum. You will see The House of Orange exhibition about the history from William of Orange to Willem-Alexander and the temporary exhibition Bloom. The Junior Palace is of course also open!

Princes and Princesses Days
tue-wed-thu 16-07 to 15-08Planning to visit Paleis Het Loo with young children? Check out the Princes and Princesses Days. This year with new shows and activities! The shows are in Dutch, yet still fun to watch. The Princes and Princesses Days are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the summer holidays. Everyone is welcome and come as you please. Dressing up is allowed, but not necessary!
Summer concerts
sat-sun 20-07 to 11-08Four weekends of concerts by the NJON (National Youth Orchestras of the Netherlands) and the Caribbean Delight Drumband. From concerts with an orchestra to swinging beats.

Royal Horsepower
sat-sun 31-08 to 01-09On the weekend of August 31, the Royal Stable Department visits Het Loo Palace with horses, carriages and the farrier.

Mini-workshop making seed bombs
sat-sun 20-07 to 11-08Like to get creative? Then make your own seed bombs. Take them home and throw, roll or place them in their spot in the garden. Pour or spray water over it. Then your bomb will fall apart on its own!
