For more than 300 years, Paleis Het Loo was the palace of the Dutch royal family - and home to one of Europe’s most breath-taking gardens. Today, the royal palace in Apeldoorn welcomes visitors from all over the world. Step inside the rooms once lived in by Willem III and Mary Stuart II and experience a glimpse of royal life.

The palace gardens take you back 300 years. Walk through the garden like Willem and Mary and discover the immaculately-cut boxhedges, flowers, fountains and garden statues. The coach houses at the stables square showcase a collection of royal cars and carriages, used for state visits, ceremonies, and other historic moments.

The entrance and exhibitions halls are hidden beneath the forecourt of the palace. This modern part of the museum hosts the permanent exhibition on the Dutch Monarchy and temporary exhibitions that change twice a year.
